Understanding Marcel Duchamp

UnderstandingDuchamp.com is a great site that I just found. Appropriately enough, it helps visitors understand the artwork of Marcel Duchamp, one of the more difficult artists of the 20th century.
The site has a slick, timeline interface that takes you through his entire artistic career. One of his lesser known works and a personal favorite of mine, the mile of string installation, is in there!

Have you ever seen that biography movie about him? I think it’s called “Marcel Duchamp: In His Own Words.” Or something similar. I sat in on it in a sisters’ sculpture class.
I left in awe.
