Wonderful, if little known, artist Bruce Conner has died

One of my favorite assemblage artists has died. I bought Bruce Conner’s retrospective 2000 BC: The Bruce Conner Story a few years ago and I’m glad I did. His early work was very influential on me. It consisted of haunting and intriguing assemblages and collages in his early years before he branched out into experimental […]

Understanding Marcel Duchamp

UnderstandingDuchamp.com is a great site that I just found. Appropriately enough, it helps visitors understand the artwork of Marcel Duchamp, one of the more difficult artists of the 20th century.
The site has a slick, timeline interface that takes you through his entire artistic career. One of his lesser known works and a personal favorite of […]

I made this.

Actually, I just strategically painted, melted and sanded it.

It’s Marvel Comics’ Thor from the Marvel Zombies miniseries.

It’s very detail and very true to Sean Philips art style in the comics. You should really go buy it. (I’m broke.)

Sweet Sci-fi/ Horror Collectible Cards

Breygent Marketing’s Classic Sci-fi & Horror Poster Collectible Cards are pretty freakin’ sweet. They’re 3.5″ x 5″, larger than a standard baseball card so you can soak in all the old poster art goodness. I was fortunate enough to get a The Day the Earth Stood Still chase card. There are also autographed chase cards, […]

The art’s back.

And it looks better than before.
“New” pieces and a slightly more dynamic layout.
Dynamic for a guy who can’t format tables.
